Are Black People Really Dumb?

If you tell a person that he is stupid enough times, he will start to believe it. This is not some scientific assertion; the writer knows because he grew up with an abusive parent, and abusive relatives.

As a people, we are growing up collectively with abusive parents and relatives, and that is not a literal statement. You know how a farm animal can grow used to its chains, or ropes or harnesses, and even feel safe in them? We are that farm animal.

They tell us that we are, so we believe them. Why else would our young men think that it is perfectly normal to spend half of their useful lives in jail, and our girls think it cool to be whores, side chicks, and mistresses just because they can wear designer clothes, go to posh clubs, and be driven around in nice cars?

Indoctrination In Entertainment

The Media has done so much damage to the black community that if there really is a God who is just; they should all spend eternity in the deepest parts of the seven hells. The black man is always the first to die in any Hollywood movie.

Even what we call Black Entertainment produces the same effect as a drunk man stabbing himself with a sharp knife because he is trying to make people laugh. They say and do stupid things – deliberately working hard to look stupid for an audience that is probably drunk or high on some substance.

Only in Black music do you see girls dancing naked, acting sexy, and touching themselves in erotic ways. And yet there was a public outrage when a white musician shot a video with Black girls on leashes, crawling like dogs. Why did the girls agree to perform such a stunt?

News Reportage

This is still part of indoctrination from the media, but perhaps it needs its own section. I watched in dismay, a news reportage of a Michigan man who won a lottery, and then proceeded to buy a gold chain, only to be beaten and robbed of it. This happened in 2021, and I saw the reportage on CNBC.

The reporters had this smirk on their faces as they talked about it, and I got so mad; I wanted to slap the smiles off their faces even it would cost me some jail time!

The man was black, the man was stupid, and they thought the man was funny!

You don’t see them reporting anything good about the black community, but when they want to show the face of a criminal, drug peddler, or someone professionally stupid, it is conveniently a black person.

Corporate World

This is a particularly difficult point to make because we don’t have the data to prove that black people are refused jobs, or that the black people who are refused the jobs actually have what it takes to perform well on said jobs.

Nevertheless, one look into the employment market is enough to show that we are not being given a good enough chance to prove our worth.

It could even be because employers themselves have been indoctrinated into thinking that black people are not smart enough to fit into the corporate world.

In Our Neighborhoods

Ok, maybe black people are dumb. Just look at our neighborhoods, and it quite hard not to agree. We start fights over the stupidest things you can think of, and before you know what is happening, gun shots actually go off, and then mothers and sisters have to cry at funerals.

Surely that kind of thing could happen in any neighborhood, but where it really gets stupid is that everybody sees, and yet nobody talks. The dangerously insane person with a gun continues to live in the community, and is free to shoot down more people! Insane!!

It is normal for there to be one or two mad people in every society, but when the whole community dances to the drumming of the mad person, then the whole community is mad!

If we are ever going to have some decency and pride as human beings then we have to start by cleaning up our communities. We have to encourage those among our youth who are honest and hardworking; support those who want to have an education, and then expose those who would rather be criminals.

The change we want must be planted by us, even if we will not be alive to eat its fruits.

Summary

What this article has tried to say is: Black people are not dumb, they have only been told that they are dumb for so long, they actually believe it.

So how can you undumb yourself, and your loved ones?

Start by paying attention to the kind of entertainment you watch. Shun anything that makes us look stupid, no matter how funny it may seem.

Teach your children to be diligent. Teach them to work hard even if their friends make jokes about their “different lifestyles.” Teach them that a man has to earn the money he spends, and that there are no short cuts to the good life.

Teach them to shun flashy cars, designer clothes, and partying every night. Give them financial literacy even if it means learning some yourself. This is the biggest gift any parent or guardian can give to his young ones- the gift of multiplying money.
